More than 1 million antidrug booklets distributed by Scientologists in Cortina Olympics

Italy’s anti-drug education initiative has exceeded more than one million informational booklets distributed in the past month. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide clear information about commonly abused substances and their short- and long-term effects.

Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in news eureka schools, businesses and urban centres. The campaign focuses on prevention through education, providing resources designed to explain the dangers of drugs in a clear way.

The initiative forms part of Scientology-supported social betterment activities, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
